I want to know how it was for you as an experience and also is it normally expected to pay an agency a small fee of $150.00 to keep pictures on their website? Mind you this is a one time fee that lasts a lifetime with the agency

  1. My friend had her daughter in modeling.  You shouldn't have to pay an agency anything. That is THEIR cost, not yours.  That's like a red flag warning.  Do a little more research. There are legit agencies. I don't think your is.

  2. i have had some experience my parents put me in model productions but they aren't really great they asked for a lot of money for things thatweren'tt even worth it.they were billing to expensive so i quit things theydidn'tt seem soprofessionall.

  3. Our oldest did some modeling as a baby and NO NO NO!!! It is not nomal to pay ANY amount to any reputable agency. Do not work with that agency! If you want your child in modeling, send 1 photo of a close-up of their face, and one full-body shot. On the back, just write specs like eye color, hair color, weight, height, shoe size, clothing size, etc... If you want the photos returned, include a self addressed stamped envelope. Only send photos to agencies that specialize in child modeling, and that are SAG approved. You can get a list online. IF an agency is interested in representing your child, they will send you a letter and usually have you come in with your child for a sort of interview to see how they handle talking with adults, etc... When they are hired for a job, then and only then, does the agency take a percentage of the pay!!! That is all a set percentage and you sign papers, etc... regarding that. PLEASE do not do business with any agencies that ask for money for any reason what so ever!
