Im early in my pregnancy about 5-6 weeks. I was wondering about cramps throughout your pregnancy. I've read that its normal but I guess I'm just worried because I've lost a baby before. This time I'm further along and don't wanna lose this one. I'm experiencing a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. Its kinda like cramp because its like the same spot but it doesn't hurt. Sometimes an uncomfortable feeling but mainly it just feels weird. Is this anything normal? I just wanna make sure my baby is ok.

  1. I read that cramping in early pregnancy is normal but I would still be checked since you have history of a miscarriage, I do know from experience that miscarriages hurt though so most likely you're fine.

  2. Keep in contact with your doctor regarding any cramping you have, but don't let yourself get too worried about it. Cramping is normal, after all, the uterus is growing quite rapidly and all of your ligaments and everything have to stretch to accommodate it. If the cramping becomes severe, or is accompanied by any bleeding, that is the time to see your doctor immediately.

  3. FROM APPROX 5 NEARLY SIX WEEKS IVE HAD CRAMPISH PAIN DOWN TO 2 SIDES OF MY BIKINI LINE AREA AND WHICH SOMETIMES IS SLIGHTLY LIKE PERIOD PAIN, BUT NOT AS EXTREME, IM 17 WEEKS AND STILL GET THEM, CHECKED WITH MIDWIFE TWICE AND HAD 2 EXTRA SCANS AND THEY HAVE PUT IT DOWN TO GROWING PAINS ?

  4. you get loads of weird pains/cramps/sensations during pregnancy so it is probably nothing to worry about. Try to stay relaxed, eat well, sleep well and your baby will be healthy.

  5. If you are worried go and see your Doctor, if you can't see one immediately, put your feet up and relax. It could just be your uterus growing but if you are worried you need to get it seen to

I just wanna wish you luck and I hope it all goes well for you, Babies are the sky and the stars and the moon all rolled into one beautiful package!

  7. I'm sure everything will be fine. It is normal for woman to feel pain when there period was due to be. Some woman even experience spotting during this time. I know it must be hard for you not to worry with losing a baby in the past but you should try and relax and just take it easy. You can phone a midwife or doctor at you surgery and tell them just to put your mind at ease. Good Luck and congratulations on baby x

  9. I had a lot of cramping througout my pregnancy. If it's not TOO painful. . .  then I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

BUT.  If it were to get incredibly painful. . . I'd contact a doctor immediately.  Wishing you the best!

  10. you will need to get a medical opinion.. i suggest you go to the doctor..

  11. The best thing to do is have your ob/gyn monitor your progress, and cramping is normal because your womb is streatching to make room for your newborn.
