  1. no not yet

  2. Most of the stuff about "ancient civilized humans...on Antarctica"

comes from Charles Hapgood. His theory was " that the Earth’s poles had shifted in the relatively recent past (or, of you like, that the Earth’s crust had shifted relative to the poles), leaving Antarctica ice-free, and that, 9,500 years ago, there was an advanced civilization that accurately mapped the Antarctic coastline."

The Piri Reis Map (Piri the person, Reis the rank of admiral) according to Hapgood supposedly accurately showed the ice free Antarctic coastline.

It's important to remember "It’s an extraordinary claim, and according to the Sagan doctrine requires extraordinary evidence. But as is often the case with pseudoscience, the burden of proof is laid on those who have to disprove the claim. In other words: “Prove I’m wrong.”" (Ibid)

Using the links below, it becomes very clear that the map isn't accurate, doesn't show Antarctica and is full of errors.

  3. Could be....someone drew maps of it's land mass before it was supposedly "discovered".

  4. During the time of Gondwanaland, which was essentially in he southern hemisphere, human life could probably have survives since the weather cycle was believed to be active.

Problem is, them humans ain't been evolved at that time and neither was them Dinosaurs.

So, there Ya have it. The continent we call Antarctica was part of the whole deal but humanskis hadn't arrived.

  5. I hope by artificts animilistic you mean fossils of animals?

If so yes fossils have been found but remains of human settlements? NO!

  6. Not that I know of. The environment is pretty harsh: very cold, not a lot of viable food resources, no natural resources (timber, easily accesible rock, metals, etc).
