  1. Dunno. All I can say is that Rafa is a great sport. A true role model for us because of his humility and respect.

  2. Feeder did to Djokovic last year on US open, he said it was brutal and not realistic for him to win at 3 sets. Maybe not like Nadal but was similar. There are lot of nice guy and real sports men's out there. But to be honest I really don't think apologizing helps the looser, I just think it makes him/her feels worst than he/she already did.

  3. Now, now we all remember Sharapova's apology to Serena when she won Wimbledon for the first time.

  4. The entire FO closing ceremony was short and "embarrassed" for Roger Federer.

Nadal did not fist pump or roll on the red clay as he usually does.  He must have been embarrassed to bagel Roger in the 3rd set.  But, as a true sportsman, he did it and got off the court quickly.

Nadal seemed to sense the crowd's feelings, and respectfully took his quiet celebration home with his family.

I was disappointed at the way Borg & John McEnroe treated him.  They basically acted as if this was his last FO, without setting him up for a 5th year (2009). Nadal had to remind McEnroe that he is only 22 years old and had some tennis left in him.

  5. don't know but why should he have to apologize? He didn't do anything wrong. It was a competition and he beat him. He could make a fair comment saying that they both deserved to win but he shouldn't apologize

  6. It was this French Open where I began to see that Rafa is just a sweet kid with a wonderful clay court mastery. While he will never be my favorite player( I am a Federer/ Djokovic fan) , he has earned my respect. I think he really felt embarrased for Federer.

  7. No. Why would they? Winning is what they try to do and someone always is going to lose.

  8. i dont know but Nadal must be a good sport and is dominating on Clay   but Federer is my favorite.
