Has any1 had a laparoscopy?

on nhs or private,if nhs how long did you have to wait,if private how much did it cost you and where from?thanks

same as miss hope.

on the NHS & I waited about 10 months ( that was 2 years ago)  & I was assured that was quick!

If you get the option to go private ( or can afford it)  do it.

the NHS is getting worse not better with waiting times, regardless of Official figures the hospitals produce.

Most lie or bend the truth, to obey government targets!

well i was told about 6 months for mine. but was actually about 3 months as i got a cancelled slot and was done by nhs

im in kent, waited around 2 months for appt (pembury hosp in tonbridge) hopefully he will be able to open my tubes ( 2 ectopics although i have children) but dont hold out much hope!!!

was waitting 4 6wks but they put me in when i was on my period n they cant do it when ur on so it got cancelled so waitting 4 it again but it depends on how buzy ur guy is at the time, good luck with the op hope it works 4 both of us x (ur sister soz) p.s nhs is fine dnt go n spend money when u dont need 2 x

my sister had one and she waited 3 months on the nhs, i think it depends how serious it is.
