Has anybody been by coach to salou, Was it ok.?

I have heard of coaches being robbed at gun point???

the coaches are probably paid to stop at certain services and the food was verrrrrrry expensive at them so take plenty of grub and drinks for the lonnnnngggggggg journey  - if you are taking kids then also you need plenty to do on the journey - get them all Zen Vision mp4 players and a dvd player for the journey with the money you save from the alternative plane package costs!!! Salou was good and the theme park near there had good rides and facilties - Salou hotels can be noisy if you are on a main street so check out where yours is unless you dont mind the noise

Yes, went with ferris travel.very long journey.about 24 hours to malgrat which is about 200 miles from salou.so you are lokking at about a 27 hour trip.They do a coach that now does a overnight stop on the outskirts of paris.never heard of any probs with hold ups they do have regular stops for driver change overs but these only last for about 30 mins.take your own food as the service areas in france are expensive and not very good.just as a note certain coach companys will allow you to fly even though they are coach companys.easy jet fly to barcelona and a train runs to salou from the airport and takes about 45 mins.costs a bit more but at least you are in the resort in about 6hrs.good luck

by the way, you have to stay at the touristic part.

I have been by coach, this was a few years ago but i didnt come across any problems and nobody else on our holiday did either. I dont know where you have got being robbed at gun-point from..... could it be a one off? i certainly have not heard that and i have worked in the travel industry for a number of years, i would say do not be put off, salou is a great resort with alot of fun to offer for all ages! Enjoy........

robbed at gun point? Maybe in Texas not in Spain it's hard to find someone with a gun in Spain beside the police.
