  1. I haven't been on the MS Fleurette but I have been on a Nile cruise and it was fantastic.

    To answer your questions:

We found the bar prices to be very expensive unless you were drinking the Egyptian stuff and even the Egyptians won't drink it.

A can of beer, Heineken £3 50 English ($7) for a 330ml can, Spirits were about the same Coffee and tea £2 English ($4)

Tipping is expected everywhere in Egypt, however on our boat, the boat's cruise director took care of all the tipping throughout the cruise (£40 English ($80) per person) and collected it at the end of the cruise for distribution.

If you go to a public toilet in Egypt (outside, a hotel, a bar) the door person will expect a tip for supplying you with one sheet of toilet paper.

The food on board is good and the entertainment is OK. The cabins are good and kept very clean, towels etc are changed every day.

Most of the tours are early in the day (6am - 7am start) so that you can be back at the boat before the sun gets really hot. The boat tour guides are fantastic, they all speak  good English, are trained Egyptologists and really know their subject.

We loved it and have reccommended it to all our friends.
