  1. One evenin' of late into Bandon I strayed,

    and bound for Clonakilty I was makin' me way,

    at Baliniscorthy some time I delayed

    for to wet me auld whistle with porter.

    Remember that song??

    I thought that was in County Kerry.

    No wonder I never got to Clonakilty
