Has anybody bought a digital converter box at wal-mart or target, how much were they?

  1. Target carries 2 boxes, $60 and $49  ($20 and $9 after your $40 coupon)

    I got the Best Buy box, and like it fine, I don't have much to compare it to, but here's a link to what Consumer Reports thinks.

    I suggest you get coupons from the US government or check out e-bay if you are looking to get one at the lowest price

  3. If you have cable, or Satallite service, you will not need this converter box.  If using the old rabbit ears to get your TV broadcasting, then yes you will need a converter box.

    Also the government is handing out vouchers for 50.00/off converter boxes, just do a search on the net and you will find it.  Check out www.DTV2009.gov to get the voucher.
