Has anybody done Americorp?

What is it like? What program did you do? What programs only last for a few months?

I did an Americorps/Student Conservation Corps program out in New Hampshire called the New Hampshire Conservation Corps.  It lasted 10 months, we did environmental education for a few months, then did work with state parks and the white mountain national forest during the last 4 months.   It was fun, I got to see a lot of NH.  I can't tell you what programs last a few months, but I can say that you just need to head to the Americorps website.  americorps.gov  or The Student Conservation Association website. thesca.org  there you will find more information on what programs they offer, how long they are, and more.  I can't tell you exactly because there are just so many.
