Has anybody else ever seen ghosts?

ok. one time when i was about 11, it was about 630 in the morning, and i was running to my kitchen to get a drink of water. then out of the corner of my eye, i saw something that looked like a levitating man in a black trench coat, no feet/legs (that i could see) with red eyes without any face/head that resembled those of spiderman. i stopped looked for a second, got really scared, ran back to my room, then i came back and it was gone. by the way, the ghost didnt seem to care if i saw him...i made eye contact and everything. has anybody else ever had an expierience like this?

I have  never seen a ghost but i believe that they exist. have a look at Ghoststudy.com you will see some cool photos. Of course there are obviouse fakes but there are some genuine freeky pics. Watch mosthaunted -uk show ,a couple of times and the footage will make you wonder.The idea of ghost's don't scare me the idea of aliens scares me more and no i haven't seen any either but i do believe.we need more shows like the x-files back on telly get rid of 's*x in the city'and all those csi shows.

No, but in this one room in my old house that everyone thought had bad spirits, I felt a very cold wind hit my back and the room was completely closed up and there was no fan.

You saw it out of the corner of your eye?  Do you read books out of the corner of your eye?  When you understand why you don't you'll understand why I think you didn't see a ghost.

i went to waverly hills sanitarium, a haunted hospital

its soooo cool their but scary. door close on their own, screams, shadow people.

its pitch black and huge, and spooky

yep this may sound crazy....but for about a month i had this boy following me i wakled out of the bathroom and i thought i was about to run into a boy (it was in my school) so i stopped.but no one was there. then i kept seeing him at my house but he always disappeared...sorry if that sounded like im a complete weirdo..lol

I have seen many ghosts. All after I was grown.  Some are at famous haunted locations while most are in average places most people do not think is haunted. I wast on Fremont street in Tombstone and saw Wyatt Earp.

I had two experience very close to each other when I was six.  My brother and I both saw driving down the highway one time in a car next to us, this creature thing, the size of a small boy about my age, but he wasn't human, it had spikes all over it's head and it coloration was grayish greenish.  There was a man and a woman driving the car look straight ahead as if they didn't know this was in the car.  It just looked at us and smiled.  We screamed to our parents, who told us it was a mask, but that thing was no costume.  Then at home one morning again, when I was six.  I was walking down the hall to my parents bedroom to wake them up and I turned and looked in the living room.  We had a big box in the living room that a new toy had come in and my brother and I had been playing in the box the night before.  I saw something similar with a spikey head peering out at me, I just turned and ran back to my room and prayed that my parents would wake up soon and come in my room.  My dad came in my room after a while and I told him what I saw, but he said it was my imagination.

"Without any face/head that resembled spiderman"?  A lot of things don't have face/heads that resemble spiderman.  Is whether or not something looks like spiderman the way you describe everything?  What a narrow world view.  

If I understand what you have written, whatever you saw resembles peoples descriptions of "mothman".  Look it up on wikipedia.

Forget the picture of the statue, look lower for the drawing with the eyes in the chest and no head.  From your confusing desciption it's hard to tell what you saw.

My parents had three kids before me.  The first two died less than a year after they were born.  They both had bad hearts.  Before my parents moved they were discussing the move in the living room, and a lamp lifted off of the table, and fell on the floor.  My mother believes this is one of the boys, and he was “upset” with the move.  This was before I was born, so I can't tell you if it is true or not.

Another experience my parents had was when they were looking at houses.  When they looked at this one house, the current owners refused to go up to the second story, or let my sister go up with my parents while they were looking.  The owners did not live or go up to the second story.  My mother said that the rooms were completely empty.  She said she could hear a cat, and at one point it sounded like someone stepped on its tail, but she never saw one, and the current owners did not have a cat.  There were these rooms that kept getting smaller and smaller, and the last room was painted a blood red.  There was also a staircase that went up to a window, but nowhere else.  Again, this was before I was born, so I can't be sure this isn't just a story.

My sister also claimed that she experienced strange events in her room.  She said that she would fall asleep watching a movie, and the tape would end up across the floor from the VCR.

One night I woke up for an unknown reason.  I checked the time, and it was about 2AM.  I just then looked to my left without any reason, but like I knew something was going to happen.  When I did so I heard a huge laugh right in front of me, but nothing was there.  It was one of the loudest things I've ever heard.  I was so freaked out that I was stiff for a few hours.  When I finally snapped out of it, I slowly looked at the time.  It was just past 4:30...

I doubt it was a dream, and my parents said it was from the next room, but everyone was asleep.

A few years ago I thought I saw a black cat out of the corner of my eye when I was at a friends house.  I mentioned it to him, but we didn't think much of time.  A few weeks ago the same friend said that he saw the cat running down the hallway at night.  He said that he turned on the light in the center of the hall, and he saw the cat moving down the hall and disappear.  The end of the hall is a deadend...
