Has anybody else had sinus surgery?

I had an ethmoidectomy and sphenoidectomy on Wednesday, and I am curious to see what other people experienced after surgery. I am mostly feeling very tired and congested.

Hi Wideawake.  Yes I've had 3 nasal surgeries (all for removal of nasal polyps).  Recovery from these was only a couple of days, then removal of gauze about a week later (office procedure).  These really improved my quality of life; I hope your surgery does the same good luck!

Yep, I felt the same way.  You will feel much better when you follow up and, well I did not have any packing so the ENT kind of vacuumed out my sinuses and that makes a huge difference to the congestion.
