Has anybody else noticed that bookbags have gotten WAY smaller in the past year or 2???

Question

Because now I need a new one for school, but they're ALL too small. I need something big enough to fit all my highschool text books in, and they're all frickin' kindergarten sized.

What gives?!

No one carrys all their books unless they are nerds. Last yr I didn't carry one hs book the whole year. I didn't even use one, I don't think.

Apparently they're not in style anymore. But still how is someone supposed to fit 10 books in a tiny tote bag. It's ridiculous!

there not in style any morebut go to places like family dollar umm try the warehoses like bj's sams club walmart u might find the sizes u need in there.

haha yeah....i guess your right...but i dont mind cuz i just carry my books that i need and i normally dont even use them....

but side backpacks are usually bigger...&& most girls are just carrying big bags && totes around so not as many people get backpacks...

haha yeah your really right i never really thought about the differences in size...lol

I ended up going on Jansport.com and buying a HUGE one! I had 12 books for one class last semester.

I REALLY DON'T EVEN THINK IT'S THE BAGS. I TRULY THINK THE BOOKS ARE GROWING FROM GRADE TO GRADE. I CAN'T FIT MY BOOKS IN MY BAG EITHER. I HATE THAT I CAN'T FIND A ONE STRAP MESSENGER BAG BIG ENOUGH.

I HAVE 30LBS WORTH OF STUFF I NEED TO CARRY HOME SOMETIMES.

WHEN I DO FIND LARGE ONES THEY ARE LIKE BACKPACKING OR HIKING BACKPACKS THAT AREN'T FEMININE OR CUTE. I WANT A CHEAP ONE BUT I CAN'T EVER FIND ONE FOR LESS THEN 20 BUCKS.

i got my school bag from hottopic.com. it's a messenger style bag with 30 seconds to mars on the flap. you can always look online for a good one. mine was 40 and i love the band so i'll be using this one for a while. pretty strong, can hold 2-3 big textbooks, notebooks. my suggestion, look into that style of bag. they're nice.
