  1. You just have to be careful and be sure that you have it covered pretty well or it pops all over the top and sides and everywhere, this being because of the fat content and not to do it on high.  I get  in a hurry and you can't do that and it work pretty good.  Did not end up in ER either.

  2. Cook on low, with several sheets of paper towels beneath the meat and a couple on top (use a microwavable plate).

Break up the meat on the sides, and toss them in a large microwaveable bowl.

Continue to zap the meat until no pink is left, and all the meat is in the bowl.

Pour the spaghetti sauce over the broken-up meat, cover and microwave until the mixture is hot.

P.S.  Have fun cooking spaghetti noodles.

  3. I know this is possible because my father use to make me hamburgers in his microwave.  I don't know how long to leave it.  Just keep checking it about every five minutes.

  4. You can cook anything in the microwave....how good it will be is the real issue...I have not personally cooked ground meat in the microwave, but I would imagine you could....just make sure to do it in small time increments, say 2 minutes, then break it up and move it around, another 2 mins.; do some stirring etc until it all appears cooked through...when you add it to the sauce, heat it all for a couple of more minutes, stopping to stir it up every so often...it should turn out ok, but I'm thinking the microwave will need a good cleaning....Get your stove fixed, best idea.
