Has anybody ever got any satisfaction from royalmail/post office helpline 0845 7740 740, it has to be THEE?

worst ever. phone it and you will see what i mean. pretend you want to stop all mail for the previous occupier of your address.

this is 3 fold.

1. your postman/woman doesn't waste time carrying it and posting it.

2. you don't waste time writing on it not at this address.

3. it doesn't get brough back to the same sorting office.

BTW, i now know i have to put it in writing(another letter) to my sorting office and request mine and my girlfriends surname only at my address.

The last three days I have had a letter delivered to number 30 I live at 32.

The next day a letter was delivered to number 34

Yesterday a parcel was delivered to number 32 but the next street.

I phoned that number and the lady is passing on the complaint to the local sorting office manager

So I will wait to see if the new Post person improves being able to read the correct address

Maybe I should buy him a sat nav for Christmas if he lasts that long

All I've ever wanted to know I've been able to find out through either my postman or the staff at a post office.  I did write them a letter once.  But I've never been on the phone to them ....
