...that they were born in a different time? Have you ever wished that you could have been born in an earlier time, such as in the Elizabethan era in England, or the age of sultans ans palaces in India, or in the Middle East, back when nomads were common and everybody lived in the desert?

Or have you ever wished that, after hearing all this talk of these new gadgets and abilities that our grandchildren will have, that you had been born twenty, fifty, or even one hundred years later?

Or are you completely satisfied with the time we live in now, and think that this is the best time to be born in?

Personally, I've often wished that I could have lived earlier, in the 1800's or so, when there WAS no issue of global warming, when there were no worries over rising gas prices, and when people would rather enjoy nature than sit inside at their computers.

Or, that I could have been born way back when in the Middle East, when one had to cross a desert every year or so. I don't know why, but it sounds so much more interesting.

  1. I would have liked to be growing up in the 1800's, hard work, neighbor helping neighbor.

A mans word was all he needed. Strong family values, everyone ate at the table, the family unit was in tact. Families stayed together, played and worked together. They were honest, law abiding, God fearing people. ...thank you very nice question.

  2. I always have. I'd like to have been born around 1750-1800 as well. Maybe then I could have met Mr. Darcy :]
