  1. Watch "Blood Diamonds" with Leonardo Dicaprio - to learn how to speak with a Instant South African Accent this will make them think you are a local and not to be messed with....

    Use phrases like:

    1. Sweet my China

    2. Naai my Broer

    3. Chuck me another Castle Lager

    4. Hey that is a lekker bakkie you got there my china

    5. I checked a lekker fliek at the bio-scope last week

    6. Hey Boet lets go get a lekker bunny-chow

    7. Are you in the mood to go and gooi another dop there in Camps Bay?

    8. Hey it is lekker kif here in Cape Town

    Hope that helps!!!

  2. Do not flash cash around, or fancy/ expensive jewelry, be wary at all times! Take protection if possible (Cell phone too)!

Cape town is a very beautiful place, as long as you don't venture into run down town ships you will be fine!

There are lots of nice prezzies so be shore to have a little spending money!

    Enjoy your stay!

  3. You are in for such a treat.  It's one of the most beautiful places inthe world. Hope you enjoy it.

Just be careful, what areas you visit. Go to the Wine Farms at Stellenbosch, go to False Bay, and all up and down the coast from Cape Town to Hout Bay. Go to the Waterfront. Lovely little markets. Just keep jewelry you are wearing to a minimum.

Drive over Chapmans Peak (this is a must) it is awesome. Try visiting Bettys Bay and Pringle Bay.

Be careful where you travel at night. Best not to be around Seapoint after dark. Eat at Camps Bay if you want to eat out at night.  I hope you enjoy it.

  4. Lots of useful information here, all written by an insider :-)
