Has anybody got their NoE for EMA?

Has anybody received their Notice of Entitlement for EMA. I start school on the 2nd and haven't received a word. i called them up a week ago and they said i should receive it by the end of week.. if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow should i call them up again? and has any one received theirs?

The company administrating EMA has changed this year. And the new company is having problems with their computers.

There are lots of delays, don't worry about the notice, the fact they have the application is what is important.

The schools and colleges have no way of sending the enrolment and register information to the company at the moment so students are probably not going to get their EMA for a while.

i got a letter sayin it wasnt filled in properly, and i have to send it back, so i wnt get the first few weeks but il get backed payed later. maybe you should ring them if you've got no word, but they should have written to say they've got your application.

Yes, I got it last week. In a medium sized white envelope. When did you send it off?

Right basically, i've rung them and this is what they said to me about mine.

If your enrolment date is in september and you are a first time applicant, then you are not due to receive a reply until the week after your enrolment, they will re-imburse your loss of money during that time.

I know it irritated me too cause i sent mine off Mid - July.

No I haven't had a reply I mean I sent mine 4-5 weeks ago and no reply since.

UPDATE:

I rang EMA and according to their employee, he said I will get my NOE on 14th September 2008 and now they are saying that all other applications are going to be delayed for approximately 1 week (according to their employee). This is because their phone line and computers are down and they don't work.

i sent mine of over two months ago and still no reply. I called them up and they said ' we are very busy and have many applicants to sort out but you should get a reply by the 8th'.

Don't worry, many of my friends are in the situation. Besides they will re-pay you if you miss any payments.
