Yahoo Answers..."WHOA....you have earned -8 points"

It wasn't on the "points/Level" info page and I don't understand why I got that....anyone know??????? Has anyone got this before?

Please tell me why this is!

It has not happened to me before but I believe you lost 8 points due to some community guidelines that you may have unknowingly violated. Or, you have asked a question and got violation points deducted on the said question. :)

I get that all the time.

Yahoo has a status tracker that posts and notifies you when you vote, or someone votes yes to your answer or chooses your answer as best. It temporarily replaces your avatar.
