Has anybody got wed in lanzarote?

my boyfriend proposed in Febuary, and we would like to get married abroad, maybe Lanzarote. has anybody got married there before?

No i haven't, but before you rush ahead and book it i would recommend you talk to your travel agent and make sure you do your research, as soon as you say wedding to a travel agent their eyes light up and you can literally see the ££ signs rolling round the sockets lol. My travel agent duped me and OH big time when we booked to get wed in Mexico she failed to tell us all the paper work etc that was required of us and also forgot to say that it would be an additional £500+ to have every thing legalised and translated into Spanish...... in the end i changed to Kenya because of THEIR mistakes and the cheeky bitc* charged me £150 for the privilege............... but in the long run i didn't mind paying (well i did but what can you do) because it worked out over £2k cheaper to go to Kenya....
