Has anybody had any problems with using mirena?

I had mirena for about a month now, and have not had any children, but miscarried...I have had some small stomach problems since I have had this put in..Just wondering if anyone has had any kind of problems with it.

I have had two Mirena's once my original one expired I got a new on inserted. The 1st one was smooth sailing only side effect was NO  PERIOD. The second one was inserted and I began gaining weight 30 pounds (with no diet or exercise change) I began having acne, back pain and nausea needless to say after 10 months with that IUD I had it removed and returned to the pill and have lost 15 pounds face has cleared up and I no longer suffer from back pain.

i had mine put in in october.  the only thing i can call a problem is that i bled for a LONG time.  but since then i've only gotten 2 periods...and that' certainly no problem for me!  what kind of stomach problems are you having?  i know slight abdominal cramping is a side effect, but i can't remember everything that was on the list (i found the side effect list).  if you're having issues other than the ones that are listed, you should see someone.  maybe it's not because of the mirena...but maybe now that it's in it made an underlying issue more prominent.
