Has anybody heard of john titor?

i just heard of him recently and im so into it now.

Yes. He was allegedly a time traveler that came back in time to this time to visit his younger self.

He supposedly told people a few things that were going to happen in our future.

John Titor was a liberal college student, with far too much time on his hands. He knew just enough about current developements being worked on in the field, to present plausible scenarios for his ability to travel in time. However, his predictions have wholly proved to be horse-hockey. Period. Not one of them has come to pass. It made for exciting reading, but nothing more.

Yeah ... another money grabber. One of his predictions was that we would have a revolution in America before the year 2000. I'm still waiting

Yes, I have heard of him.  I am still skeptical about his time travel.  Although, he did say the the U.S.  was supposed to have another civil war with some minor incidents in 2005 and the peak during 2008.  What is interesting is that by him traveling back in time and crossing into a parallel universe (which is ours) caused our timeline to be changed and we do not have  a civil war.  Although, I am a little uneasy about his predictions of Russia and US diplomacy failing and that a WW3 will happen in or around 2012-2015.  If you compare to the events currently happening now with our deployment of a missile shield and Russia's opposition of it.  

I would say if he is a time travelor then he is from an alternate Universe and his crossing into our timeline altered our future to make it slightly different than his.  

It is fun to think about though.

Yes, and he is as others described him here.  His predictions of course were off so it is unlikely that he was a real time traveler.  Other than that, I would think that if anyone came from the future to here, they would be considered a crackpot unless they started spouting off very accurate descriptions of event to come.  

Now, if it were me, I would play the lottery a couple of times when it was at its highest and then retire.

Titor made many predictions about events in the near future (within ten to fifteen years) including that of an impending American civil war and nuclear war in the Middle East. Titor announced on March 24, 2001 that he would be leaving this time and returning to his in 2036. He has never been heard from again. The identity and providence of the messages from John Titor remains an unsolved mystery.
