Has anybody heard the target price for the Venture One vehicle?

For information and video, go to flytheroad.com. or google Venture One. This the the vehicle I have been looking for - a total rush to drive, very fast, and probably aboout 100 miles per gallon.

The FAQ says between $20000 and $25000.

I've soured on the VentureOne.   They went with styling that looks like a cross between an anime concept and a Harley trike, and the re-engineering associated with dropping the in-wheel motors dropped the target mileage for the Q100 to about 70 MPG.   I'm more interested in the Aptera now because of the superior economy and simpler mechanicals, and it has much more cargo space plus side-by-side seating.

Edit:  The Aptera looks more like a truncated Caproni sailplane than a Piper Cub to me, and I've always liked "glass slippers".

The target price when it comes to market in 2008: $18,000 for the base model, rising to $23,000 for an all-electric variant.
