Has anybody heard/ where can IO get info on the death note controversy?

there has been a little news on the controversy surrounding the anime/manga death note ll of it on you tube. if you don't know what I'm talking about. it's to fold. one kids in school are starting to carry death notes and people are mistaking them for hit list. also china band anything horror related and made that genre illegal because of death note. there is all the murders blamed on the series.

so I got two questions.

1.whats your opinion on this

2. where can I get more info on this issue.
