Has anybody here ever seen an inanimate object move by itself?

Question

This is a serious question. I realize I'm going to get comments saying stuff like "YEA MY TOASTER JUMPED OFF THE COUNTER AND SMACKED ME WITH IT'S CORD. I will never be the same." That's okay. Please don't respond if you have a poor understanding of sarcasm though, I want to be able to tell which replies are serious and which aren't.

The object I saw move by itself was a ouija board pointer. I was with 6 other people, we asked the spirit we were talking to if it would move the pointer by itself if we took our hands off the board and it spelled yes. So we took our hands off of the pointer and stood up. After staring at it for about 5 seconds, the pointer jolted to the right then turned a little to the left.

I think about it a lot.

Yep.  I've had doors open and/or close on their own.  No one else home but me, all windows are closed so there was no draft.  No, the door wasn't partially opened so that a vibration could cause it to swing one way or the other.

One time, I was home alone, preparing to go to my Grandma's house.  She was sick and my Mom stayed with her during the week and I stayed with her on the weekends.  My husband and daughter were gone so it was just me and the cat.  My cat was upstairs and I hear him come flying down the stairs, he raced past me with his fur and tail all puffed.  Just then, I heard music box music coming from upstairs.  I do have a couple of jewelry boxes that play music when the door is opened, but I recognize their tunes. Also, my boxes were on my dresser downstairs.  I didn't recognize the tune I was hearing and it had that old fashioned, tinny sound to it.  It kinda spooked me.....

only once have i seen a completely inanimate object move all by itself, at work some time ago a thing called 'fat bob' next to one of our machines lifted a leg and farted with no external influence, then an eerie smell wafted through the workshop and several people got an uneasy, almost queasy, feeling.  the smell faded after several hours and 'fat bob' hasn't moved since but remains on the pay-roll.

Oh yes many times, in a house with a very active Poltergreist, I saw dishes flying from the dishwasher and land softly on the table, it was creepy.

Spirit was letting you know it was there. Nothing to be afraid of. It was probably harmless. To often people are afraid of spirits. Some of the ngative spirits feed on fear. If there is none they go away.

of course stuff like that will move around, but it supernatural stuff and if i were you, i would stay away from it coz you can F*%$ your subliminal up severely.

let me tell you, the thing that moved it was a spirit (probably evil coz "good" spirit cannot be called "up"), and now you have opened yourself up for that thing, whatever it is...

can you maybe tell me what the question was that you asked on that ouija board... it's very important for me to know that. people see ouija board as a game, but it's roots are firmly in a thing called divinism

A couple of weeks ago, my daughters and I were watching TV and the television and the glass top it sits on suddenly slid back an inch and fell off the stands that the glass sits on.  It's kind of hard to explain, but the stands it sits on have rubber non skid surfaces on them.  The TV has a 52" screen, so you can imagine how heavy it is and how mcuh force it takes to move it.  We actually saw it slide back.  My girls were freaked, but since I'm an investigator, I didn't get too worked up.  I merely told the spirit to behave or I'll have it exorcised.  This isn't the first activity I've experienced in my own home, but the first time I saw something move in my own home.

Can't say that I have seen a inanimate object move by it's self.

But science is discovering new things all the time and there are still things out there that are unexplained like, New animals that are just popping up all the time, Why some people can survive extreme cold and others can't, How animals and bird can navigate thousands of miles without ever getting lost and when they know it is time to start a migration, why I can't get a date (lol).

Somethings can't be explained at the time but a reasonable explanation will probably become apparent in time. If not use the story to add mystique to your personalty and scare the c**p out of your friends.

Yes, I've seen this many times as an investigator. But, when it come to Ouija boards, your playing with fire. It's dangerous.

It probably happened because the board was unstable where it was put, and by putting hands on it and then off, you moved it from the position it was in, causing it to eventually move back because it was not balanced properly. The pointer moved with the board, however because the pointer had a different weight than the board it moved more.

Unstable objects may be caused to move by a draft, and they might not move until they were hit by it.

No body was near them. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS ANSWER...You wanted a serious answer to your question without any sarcasm. Here it is...There are two kinds of spirits in this world...good and bad. The good ones are God,Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all their angels...The bad ones are Satan and his demons...That's right. Do inanimate objects move themselves? NO! But they can be moved by spirits as you know. God does not work this way. That is the truth! So for your information... Satan and his demons do. The ouija board is a way to talk directly to the spirit world...the WRONG SIDE of the spirit world. Since it bothered you to this extreme, I suggest you turn your back on it and never look back. The Bible says "Resist the devil and he will flee from you. I have seen moving things, ... I was going to list a number of supposedly impossible things I've seen and dealt with, but it would be too much typing. I will say one thing, a ouija board is one of the things that will seriously mess you up. There are intelligences out there and ouija boards are like a magnet to malignant ones. Stay away from it unless you want trouble. I am very serious about that. If you must explore the paranormal, stick to seances and the like. Get the board out of your house. (Now that it's particular, resident demon has noticed you, it's not a good idea to keep it around, much less use it again.)
