My son is going to be short 1 credit his senior year if he misses last hour due to hockey practice. He made a Junior A team for hockey, but he has to drive 75 minutes one way to make it in time for practice and he doesn't want to homeschool is whole year, because he has been going to this school district since kindergarden and he wants to graduate with his friends.

  1. He can probably complete a distance learning course to obtain that one credit.  I did that my senior year of high school and it was pretty simple.  I used this program:

  2. So your not homeschooled,  You want to just not take a class?  that is what y9our saying, right?  then just remove an elective, or ask the school if they have a virtual school option,   that he can take even next semester, in florida we have FLVS   it is an official high school and does the credit thing,

so worth asking if you have something like that in your area.    there are also umbrella schools where he can take a class and get the credit,   and then they send it to the high school he attends, but do your homework, make sure they will accept it,

good luck,  and good luck on the hockey team... ;)
