Question:

Has anybody in the UK ever saw doctor about a growing mole?

About 5 years ago I developed a small brown mole on my chest, being young I didnt bother to think about it but lately its been a little tingly and my fiance has said its more raised than usual. I want to go to the doctor about it but being a new mum im really worried to heasr any bad news. Does anybody know what will happen when I see doc, will I have to wait to see a specialist? any advice would help thanks

  1. I am not in the UK, but if a mole is changing you do need to see a doctor.  When that happened to me, my doctor did a needle biopsy in his office, and then set up an appointment for me to have the mole removed.


  2. if ur GP thinks its anything to worry about they'll set you up with a specialist at the hospital. They'll take a bi-opsy. If it does have cancerous or pre-cancerous cells cells, they'll just remove it. And you;ll have to have regular check ups on other moles. But its nothing major. My mums had a couple with pre-cancerous cells but she fine. I hope you do get it checked and its ok. =)
