Has anybody noticed the correlation between the 1989 S & L bailout, and the current mortgage company bailout?

Short of the fact, that it was caused by deregulation so the FREE MARKET could s***w over the public/taxpayer?

And both had a BUSH at the helm?

it is closely similar situation. govt mostly come forward when a calamity  in financial world of country come to forefront and millions of citizens are affected causing great concerns .

You bet they will.. The money has already been made from the mortgage debacle..And its already safely tucked away in banks off American shores..Now the Suckers who invested in the mortgage (mutual funds)notes bite the bullet..Trouble is,,with the Debt factor for the country,and Big Business being  allowed to do as they wish,,our jobs,are being sent to foreign shores,the Bush administration  has us paying no debt bills,,wagering a war our grandchildren will pay,,and doing nothing to see this country,,other than the rich and Big Business,,will survive..The S&L bailout was created by the Big Business Banks,,who wanted the S&Ls out of the picture so Big Banks could get even bigger.. And it WORKED.. Bush one ,,had the bailout in place to save the Big Banks when it all went sour,,just like the mortgage predatory scam that when the economy went south and the mortgage rates reset,,That was doomed.. But you can rest assured,,corporate criminals will walk free,,and maybe,a "scape goat" will be trotted out to satisfy the short lived anger of the taxpayer ''SHEEPLE''! AND,,by November its Bye,,Bye,, Bush,,and the little town in Texas will once again find their IDIOT !!
