I've had it for about 8 years. I was just wondering if it will ever go away or not.

  1. Oh man I feel so sorry for you! My mom had an episode of it and felt completely insane. I read up about it and saw lots of personal stories of people just like you on a website. Most people said it lasted like you while others said it eventually faded away (with infrequent episodes) when they took care of themselves better. Stay away from drugs as they usually bring it on and see a therapist if possible.

    Best of luck with that.

  2. ok ok, right here, right now i will probably resolve your depersonalization. now let us see, eight years ago you probably over analyzed reality, and made youself feel like this and just didnt know where it came from, like it came out of  the blue.....

but wait... you thought about the unreality.....which means... it is a thought, and if it is a thought then it is not a real fact, but a figment of your imagination. you THOUGHT that you were not REAL and made yourself FEEL like you were not real. simple as that.

A thought is not a real thing. you made yourself THINK that you were not "there", but that is just the thing... it is a thought... thoughts are NOT REAL!!

and the best part about this is, you thought of it, so it is something that YOU CONTROL!!!

It is exactly like when you think you are sick when you really are not and MAKE YOURSELF THINK that you are ill.

    it is mind over matter.

This depersonalization Isn't a "illness" like many people claim, but in all acctuality it is but merely a thought, a disorder if you will.

the only true cure is you and you alone.

you thought of it first then, then you control it, a thought IS NOT REAL!!! thus this is not a pysical or mental illness, but a mere thought that you make YOURSELF FEEL!!

the best thing is to realize that you made it, it is but a fabrication of your mind and can not REALLY affect you, and that you control your life.

some food for thought is that our senses perception can not ignore the experiance of substance, basically, our senses can not ignore the solidity of mass, like the keys i am hitting now, which PROVES without a shadow of a doubt that reality is right in front of you.

God bless, OH and when you start tho THINK about this depersonalization, stop yourself RIGHT THERE! think of something else, do something stupid that will stop the thought from comming through, because when you THINK you have it then you MAKE yourself have it.

God bless, and take that depersonalization thought down!
