Has anybody read this book? If so what are the main points?

Has anybody read the book "Acne free in 3 days"?

It states to get rid of acne in 3 days. But you have to pay for the book.

What does it mainly say to do , to help rid you of acne.

i havent read the book, but here are my tips on skin care (they work for me, and i have pretty oily skin).

1. when you shower, before you turn the hot water off, use some kind of face scrub with salycilic acid in it, then wash it off by sticking your face under the spray.

2. use a face soap after that

3. put some kind of astringent on it

4. repeat at night and in the morning. use the sink instead of the shower if youre not in the shower

edit: seeing what that one other guy said, i think i should say that i dont get acne as he defines it, so if you have that you probably shouldnt listen to me.

I had acne for 3 years, and believe me, that book will be the biggest waste of money you'll ever buy.

Acne is a condition down to your raging hormones and sensitive skin. It will NEVER ever go in a matter days. In fact, it's impossible to 'cure it'. We can only control it.

Like I said, I had it for a very long time and required hospital treatment every month just to control them. I'm 19 and my skins perfect, apart from the odd scar. If theirs one thing I've learnt through my treatment, it's that their is NO chemical treatment. It is a natural process and you can only calm it through natural ways, as I did.

The problem with any "supposed" chemical treatment is that they all have bad side effects. I was one of the first patients to use Roaccutaine. I wish I hadn't...

Acne can only be controlled through leaving your skin alone.

DON'T shower every day. DON'T scrub your skin. DON'T use chemical soaps. DON'T scratch yourself.

And this is of course all presuming you even have acne.... Do you? Or are they just pimples? Acne breeds from under the skin thanks to over-production of seberum in the glands.

What I find quite funny and VERY sad are girls (I'm sorry, but it just is mostly) that say

'Help! I've got a spot! I'm ugly and have acne!"

They want to try having a back full of blood filled spots that burst on little pressure. That's acne.

White head spots and black filled ones are merely down to hygeine.

So that's my summary anyway... Just be careful what route you take, and what attitude you choose :)

totally agree with 'day dreamer' leave them alone - no harsh chemicals

light abrasion scrub to get rid of blackheads, only twice a day - don't touch skin or continued popping.

use one of those steamers for 10 mins a day to open pours and clean dirt without chemicals.

having said that its hard to leave your skin alone, but remember your probably way younger than me and soo 10 times prettier than me even with spots.

haven't had spots for ages, but decided to use an epilator (hair removal tool) to clear my chest of hair.  my chest had about 15 in-growing hairs and itched like h**l.  the more I scratched the more they appeared, where I hadn't scratched healed within 2 days.  hope my pain helps someone.

Yeh yeh i think you should rub it with mayo and then leave snails on your face while you sleep,

don't know about this book, but it sounds like it will be full of c**p! if you visit your GP you could discuss roaccutane with them, or even the contraceptive pill Dianette as this pill has the positive side effect of skin clearing. From personal experience i know that Dermalogica Special Clearing Gel is fantastic
