I recently installed a water4gas system w/o noticeable results. I was then informed of someone who installed another type system ,using some sort of potassium compound for the electrolyte instead of sodium bicarbonate that I used. After three months he noticed a decline in power. Upon further investigation he discovered that the potassium had deposited on the valves and turned them to sand. After being informed of this I imediatly disconected my system. I am trying to find out if the sodium will have the same effect, or if it is safe.

  1. Try using distilled white vinegar as your solution. Most preferably a solution of 4% vinegar, it produces a good amount of electrolytes.  You can find it at some of your grocery stores. Sodium bicarbonate works but makes a mess after some usage where you need to clean your generator. Potassium dries up metal alloys and makes them brittle after exposed to heat. Obviously don't use it.

  2. In your research be more accurate. Like how much better ,how many ,or miles per gallon

I have not expected an improvement due to the fact that there is no oxygen to burn the hydrogen . U may just be increasing the humidity of the air, this will cause a small improvement.

    Good luck
