Has anybody travelling to the EU (France) ever been asked for his/her return ticket at the arrival in Europe?

that question doesnt make sense tbh. The EU? as in where they have their meetings ?   and you wouldnt arive in europe, you would arrive in france, europe isnt a country

I've never been asked for proof of a return ticket in any country of Europe, and I've landed in France twice.  There didn't seem to be very strict security anyway.
