  1. it's great!

but if a person without much knowledge watches it it's not good. i mean people'll have wrong ideas about the charecters.

like my young bro started hating wahshi so much, but he is still a sahaba of rasoolullah. and hind. once anyone watches hind in that movie will hate her to death but she also accepts Islaam and is among the companions of the prophet.

anyway the movie is great it's the 2nd time m telling that but really it's great.

the director, mostapha akkad had made another movie. it's about libyan independence. the name"the lion of the desert". this movie is also good.

FLT: its not queen it's qunin.

  2. Yes, its one of the best movies I have ever watched..

    Even 'Ten Commandments'...

  3. nice

  4. It's filled with Severe errors and dishonors the Sahaabah. The Ulemaa spoke against this Ash'aree/Shee'ee venture.

Question: Is it permissible to represent the Sahaabah as we perform plays and we stopped the representation since we want to know the ruling on this matter.

Answer: Impersonation of the Sahaabah or any one of them is prohibited. For this has with it humiliation of them and discredits them and exposes them for insults, even if it is thought to be of benefit but leading to corruption is more likely, and whatever is more corruptive is forbidden, the Authority of Major scholars legislated the prohibition. And with Allaah is Tawfeeq, and peace and prayers be upon Muhammad and his family and his companions.

Very expensive movie, the english version was done by Antoni Queen.
