  1. They will find drugs!  Do not try.

  2. What do you mean? I bought some clothing from Jamaica, no issues there.

  3. quite easy... u may have a value limit before duty kicks in but its very doable... if u dont want to shop u can also go to duty free on your way home.

things in devon house... wassi... and on the street side are usualy authentialy made by crafts men.  you can ask in the souviegner shop if u dont want any made in china stuff.

things like T shirts try kooyah or zion.  they would have been painted here though the T is imported

and of course u know the food mek yah!

    rum, coffee, walkers wood... etc

try local galleries for good art supermarkets for pickles, bammy, and sweets..

  4. Other than narcotics & firearms, most of the products you could carry are primarily limited by US customs rules. NO Uncooked meats, fruits & vegetables, chemicals, biohazards, animals, etc.

  5. I went 6 years ago. I brought back liquor, fresh fruit, nuts, and also store brought miscellanous items (music, books, clothing, etc). I had no problem. If your talking about that kind of "product" my friend did it and it wasnt hard at all. but that was 6 years ago...

    Be careful

  6. I was just in Jamaica last month.  I don't know what kind of "products" you're talking about, but we brought back food, souveneirs, and alcohol (all in our checked luggage).  There are some rules (like you can't bring back plant, fruits, veggies, or animals), but they should have the rules on the website of the airline that you are using.

Good luck and enjoy yourself  Jamaica is a beautiful country!

  7. It is not hard at all.  You can buy pretty much anything, being that it is legal, and bring it back to the US.  I have gone there twice and have even bought back food products (cooked and canned).  The food was part of my checked baggage.

You can not bring back animals, firearms, etc.

It would be best for you to check with US customs to get a clear definition of what is permit-able.
