  1. It is an excellent move.  I have a friend at the health club I go to who runs a rehabilitation center down there.  They have a very nice house, and a helpful government (Costa Rica does not have a military--it was disbanded, so alot of the funds are transfered to civil affairs and civilian services and general welfare).

They love it down there, and have plenty of money to fly up here every month or two.

  2. My parents said they would never move back to Costa Rica.  I wouldn't want to move there either.

  3. i lived in costa rica for 3 months and well yes you mayn ot pay asm uch bills in the usa but the usa is much safer and much cleaner and costa rica is becoming ver corruipt my advice to you stay in america

  4. I made the move here four years ago and haven't regretted it.  I made a lot more money in the USA, but I worked non stop in order to do it.  In Costa Rica, I need a lot less money to live, I don't work as much and I feel much healthier and happier.

I think it's all in how you look at things.  If you make the move with a positive mental attitude, you will be happy anywhere.  If you need more Costa Rica information, check the TicosLand.com website.
