  1. There are some conditions of the eyes where these methods may be of help. But not in all situations. You should remember the faults in focussing with the eyes is largely due to the shape of the eyeball and the curvature of the front surface(the Cornea) Exercising cannot it  in the long term alter the shape of the eye. But if the troubles are due to a weakenss of the eye muscles then they can be of use.

  2. I am a teacher of Natural Eyesight Improvement. NEI is basically The Bates Method with the learnings of many professional NEI Teachers over the last 100 years. Anything that has to do with eye exercises(eye push ups, eye aerobics, eye yoga) is not the Bates method or NEI.

Bates helped many thousands of people in his time. Because what he was doing was interfering with the optometry business the Optometric Society kicked him out.

Many people saw Bates' success and tried to copy him. Because they did not consult with him or work with him the best they could come up with on their own was eye exercises. Eye exercises are like trying to get better at basketball by working out at the gym and running. In order to get better at basketball you have to play the game and practice the principles of basketball.

Look for Natural Eyesight Improvement or the Bates Method. Avoid anything that has to do with eye exercises(eye push ups, eye aerobics, eye yoga). If you talk to most Optomotrists or Ophthalmologists they will say that eye exercises don't work or that they wont work for the exact conditions that you have. This is true that eye exercises don't work, but they confuse eye exercises with the Bates Method and NEI which do work. The Bates Method works for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, crossed eye, and can even relieve the diseases that come from many years of artificial corrections: macular degeneration, retinal detachment, cataracts. I have several good resources on my website.
