Has anyone actually bought of eBay and got ripped off before?

I was just carious because I have bought of eBay tons of times and never got ripped off before and the product is always as described.

I got ripped off once.  I bought a gameboy game for my daughter and it turned out to be an obvious fraud.  Paypal helped me get my money back.   I reported it to Nintendo and Ebay also, and that seller was banned from Ebay.  I don't know if any legal action was ever brought against this guy, but I certainly hope so.

Me too, have had great luck with eBay. One time only, the item arrived broken. The seller had insurance and it took me a few months to get a refund. In my feedback I mentioned the broken item, but still gave the seller a good mark. The seller got mad because I mentioned the broken item and gave me a bad review, which I think if very very low. Otherwise, not a problem, a great way to find deals!
