  1. The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

  2. After searching for 12 years, I found one that I like very much,

go to http://www.confettivacations.com to see why.

  3. Why even bother looking for an online job and be paid $5/hr when you can in fact have your very own Internet Business and run it right from home?

There is an online business known as Affiliate Marketing which you definitely want to check out.

It requires zero startup cost and all you need is a computer and internet connection. Basically you get commissions for helping to sell other people's products online. It is a fact  that successful affiliate marketeers earn up to 4 to 5 figure sums consistently on a monthly basis.

There is a free eCourse on Internet Affiliate Marketing going around. It wont be there for long so grab it while you still can.

  4. Check The Link on my profile. It has tons of info on ways to make money online. All of the sites on this web page are free to join and never have to pay for anything. Check it out.

  5. You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://wa7.info . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

  6. honestly i have tried pretty much everything there is out there .... Project PayDay/ Eye Earn / those typing things / ebay system ... none work ...... you CANNOT make a living at home unless you do it LARGE SCALE .. meaning make a big investment ... and invest that investment without taking a single penny out of it.

i make a few hundred dollars every month doing surveys. i actually made a blog it .. ereview1.blogspot.com

you cant make thousands or over 500$ doing surveys ... but you might be able to make 120 or so .... which might pay a few bills

  7. People just jump all over this question!:) I know from experience how frustrating this can be but don't get discouraged there are real ways to make money from home. Unfortunately due to all the other junk legit opps can be hard to find. If you are seriously looking and would like some help and info on this, please email me. I remember how frustrating this can be so I really like helping others!

  8. www.moneyforwho.blogspot.com...made by a mom who had to work from home. lists  9 to 5 jobs and work from home job companies. It helped me find a job that pays $8 for a little while. If a company asks you for money  to work form home, then don't trust it. Very few companies will ask for a background check but you will have to do this on your own time and at least you're not giving your money away.

  9. You should have a read of the articles on this website, it will help you with the searching and also how to avoid scams but you're unlikely to get the names of any genuine companies in the replies here as there is no shortage of people looking to do work at home and data entry jobs.

  10. Hi Misty,

    First, a few things.

    1. Don't try anything that asks for a credit card or payment of any kind before you can really try it and check it out.

    2. Don't try anything unless you can do a search on yahoo/google and find out some real info on it. (Beware of sites that make their own bogus "review site)

    3. Don't try anything unless you can find a forum talk to others about the business.

    4. Don't try anything that you can't talk/meet some people who are having success with it.

I was a struggling realtor/home flipper in Florida when I met a successful business owner in my town through a friend who introduced me to an internet advertising company.

I did some serious due diligence, BBB, attorney general, called testimonials, googled the owner, etc. Awesome company an 10 weeks later i have about 125k more than i started.

    1. You can google them and check them out on the BBB.

Nothing but positive. The only negative thing i have found is that their customer service can be a bit slow. I have since found out that is because they are now adding about 2,000 people a day and they are hiring more customer service and have just acquired a new 19,000 square foot office building. (the tallest building in the city)

    2. You can google the owner and find out info on owner. Nothing but positive and successful.

    3. You can join for free and check it out. Never a credit card asked for or anything like that.

    4. I can give you names and numbers of successful people who are making alot of money with it.

    5. I can give you a forum that is not associated with the company and you can talk to others about it.

    6. No need to sell a thing.

    7. This company's goal is to be the next Google/Myspace an instead of one owner and lots of stockholders making all the money it is us. It combines Googles advertising with Myspace networking but not for teens but for adults that advertisers are looking for. That is how it is possible for me to have made 125k so far. (that is verifiable. I print my statement everyday.)

***I can pretty much bet there isn't anyone else out there offering these things. It's because they can't/won't. We can because we are a legitimate company.

My goal was to help you avoid getting scammed like I have not give you a pitch but if you want details, I will help you.

  11. No.

  12. "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.
