  4. I spent a month there backpacking. Had a good time. We flew to Cuzco and spent a couple of days in the Sacred Valley.  We then took the train to Lake Titicaca and traveled in that area for a few days. Ended up in Arequipa which was quite enjoyable. Good hiking in the mountains.  Then abus to the Nasca lines and then all the way north to Trujillo where we finally spent the remainder of our visit in a small village on the seashore.

This was about 6 years ago and the only problem we had was that it was extremely rainy inland which stopped any flights into the tropical areas. Either the planes or the airports or both didn't have radar and so they couldn't operate in rainy conditions.

Easy access to the Internet everywhere. We got dollars from the ATM which were in all larger cities. Food was good and we never had any problems, healthwise. We did get a typhoid and a hepititis shot before going.
