  1. yes watch out for tiger sharks

  2. Snorkeling in Cabo is a wonderfull idea to do.  I was amazed what fish you can see. I recommend doing Manta SCUBA Diving.  It is a great experiance.  You will love it there.

  3. yeah its nice and all but watch out for all the jellyfish

  4. Stick with the Cabo San Lucas area rather than the Los Cabos area.  The water is a lot calmer there.

  5. awesome!...enjoy...you will love it

  6. no never

  7. Hola.  Yes.  I live about 5 minutes away from the snorkelling beaches near Cabo.  They are called Chileno and Santa Maria.  They are the most popular because they are very sheltered bays.  There are also areas near Medano, Palmilla, Zippers that are okay to swim, but not really good snorkelling.  All the other beaches in the Los Cabos areas can be a bit more rough, and have undertow, current and rogue waves.

Chileno and Santa Maria are easy access by bus, or car off the main highway that connects San Jose del Cabo with Cabo San Lucas.   There are no rental shops, but if you go with a tour company they will provide you with all the equipment.  Baja Wild, Baja Extreme are two of the many companies I see bring tourists in by boat and car daily.  Go to www.loscabosguide. com to check them out.

p.s. there are no jellyfish or tiger sharks.  I can't believe people make comments like that!!  Also Los Cabos is the ENTIRE area of Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the corridor, so saying the swimming is better in Los Cabos is inaccurate!
