  1. No. It won't work. It will work in a 5 series however. I have an x5 and I have a 5 year old, 2 year old and almost 1 year old. They fit across just fine and are tethered in with the latch system.

We took our three car seats to the dealer and us, the salesman, and a mechanic all tried to get it to work in a 3 series, even the x3, and it would not work.

  2. I have one and it's been done but with the smallest car seats you can find. I did it with two small boosters and a carseat. I mean small boosters. I tried to find the least bulky one I could find. I dont' recomend it though. Bite the bullet and get a bigger vehicle.

  3. yes. give me an email address and i'll send you a picture

as long as one child is in a 5 point harness, they can sit in the centre, on the lapstrap. (check on the instructions for your seat, but loads can go on a lapstrap)

the baby can go one side, the bigger kid on the other, using the full adult belts.

i have a 1994 325 coupe. it's a good one for 3 seats, as the belts come out from the centre, making them easier to fasten

  4. Seriously?  Three kids young enough to still need child saftey seats?  Trade in your Beamer and get a more family friendly vehicle.  You're a family woman now, drive a family vehicle.
