Has anyone been doubled billed by Comcast?

I've notice over a period of months that Comcast the cable company does not send abill every month.By the time you do get a bill your monthly fee has doubled because they say you did not pay last months bill when in fact they never sent last months bill. We were threatened with a lawsuit and having our cable cut off if we didn't pay last months bill and this months. This has happened before. I keep very good records and I see from my records they don't always send a bill has anyone else had a similiar experience.

They have their heads up their butts - I was paying for the cable at my old house for 6 months when I got a letter saying that my current house was going to be turned off, collection fees, etc... after hours on the phone we got it resolved but I wonder if they went after the owners of my old house for not paying, even though they may not have ordered cable. You will note while you deal with this that 1. they have no sense of humor, and 2. That you, the customer, are always to blame. In my case, I neglected to change the account number on my bills, silly me. They blamed it on me, seriously! Then said next time, they would advise that I be sure to do that.

    Ask them if they have the phone number to Direct TV and you will get a blank response like "no, we do not have phone numbers here, sir" completely deadpan. Good luck!
