  1. From what I was told by several of my friends, here in Tijuana, that whenever they go to the airport on the return flight home, they first arrive to the airport at least 3 or 4 hours early so that they can get documented and then have a nice breakfast in a quiet restaurant that for 5 bucks you have coffee or tea, your type of juice, and two eggs anyway you like them cooked.

  2. Several things that I want to point out to you.  The name of the airport is not Panama City International Airport but however it is called Tocumen International Airport (formerly know as Torrijos International Airport!).

As for restaurants there are plenty of restaunts in the airport so that you wont end up hungry.

Please remember to leave a 10% tip if you think that the service was fair but if you think that it was great then please leave between 15 and 20% as a tip.

  3. I fly out of Tocumen International Airport all the time because I live in Panama City, Panama.

The airport has been recently renovated, so there's more space.  There's a restaurant where you can eat.  The food is OK for an airport.  You can get sandwiches or meals.  I believe there's also a coffee shop at one of the kiosks in the middle of the center aisle, but I'm not sure if they sell any sort of pastries or the sort.

What you can take advantage of is the duty free shopping.  You might be able to get a lot of bargains depending on what you're looking for.

  4. Yes, there are two places to have a nice lunch inside the airport. You won't go hungry.  There are plenty of duty free shops too. If you like coffee, make sure you buy some Panamanian coffee. It is considered to be one of the world's best.
