Has anyone been married and never got wedding rings?

My husband never got me an engagement or wedding ring. we've been married for almost a year and a half. Is there any other married people like this?

I love my husband and myself wearing our rings.  They cost around 20 bucks a piece (cheap)at the Saturday market, but we only got them for symbolic reasons.  It really depends on how you feel about it.  Love is really the only thing that matters in a marriage. I think engagement rings and wedding bands are really over rated.

Yes, my close friend and his wife never bough one another engagement or wedding rings.  I think it's only okay if you both discuss it beforehand.

I don't have an engagement ring. I don't want one. All I wanted was a simple gold band. Which cost about $80.

There's nothing wrong with it. They're not important, just a symbol.

The reason I replied to your question though was mainly in response to ninja kitty...for the amount of money spent on tattoos they could've bought inexpensive rings!

Most people I know have rings but my dad never got a wedding ring and never has.

A good friend of mine got married, but her husband did not have enough money to buy a ring. Instead they got rings tatooed onto their fingers :) it was very sweet. Obviously, this isn't everyones thing! But I think if you love your partner, rings don't matter :)

Yes I'm married know and don't have a ring and my marriage is going on 17 years strong.
