Has anyone been on a Disney Cruise lately?

We are going on the 3 day Disney cruise out of Florida next week and just wanted to get any info I could! Tell me anything about it that sticks out in your mind about your trip. Is there anything I should be sure to see or do.... especially in the Bahamas? We are travelling with young kids and dont plan on paying for any excursions since they are expensive and my youngest is too little to do them anyway.

i went on it about 7 years ago and it was so fun.i was only babysitting but believe me the kids will not be bored and neither will you.the islands you stop at are beautiful also but you dont get too much time to see everything.

disney is great. dont' worry about not haveing things to do there are plenty.

To start off, Disney cruise line is one of the best.  I can basically promise you that you will have an awesome time.  I took the land and sea package, so 4 days in disney world and then 3 days on board the disney wonder...i actually didn't go to the bahamas because of hurricane frances...we were supposed to go to nassau and then castaway cay, but couldn't because of the hurricane...so we ended up going to cozumel, mexico instead...the port that we left from was destroyed, so we had to go to another one...let me tell you, it was such an adventure not knowing what was going to happen...anyway, i assume that you are going ton the disney wonder...i will tell you as much as i remember

The ship itself-

This ship is absoutely beautiful...right when you walk in the lobby you are greeted by the most friendly staff...you see an incredible statue of ariel...all over the ship there are hidden mickeys and other disney characters, i think your kids will enjoy trying to find them.

Food-

the buffet on this ship is open 24 hours and has a wide selection of food...there is 24 hour free room service, just a tip is reccomended...there is rotating dining, i wont spoil all of the resturants, but one that is amazing is animators palate...all that  can say is when you walk in the walls are black and white, and it turns into color...

Pools-

There are 3 pools, mickey pools(kid pool), goofy pool(family pool) and then an adult only pool...

Service-

the people who work on this ship are so friendly and helpful...they can answer any question you may have

Activites-

there are so many things for all ages to do on this ship...

-excellent kid programs

-night clubs

-pool side games
