Has anyone been on a New Zealand outwardbound course? What was it like?

I am thinking of going on one - the full 3 or 4 week one. What was your experience of it and what advice would you give me about going?

I haven't personally been on one but knew a couple mates that did it years ago - they said it was hard, but alot of fun.
