  1. Go to: http://ilovevacations.globaltravel.com/

We offer huge discouts on crusies..ont the top cruise ships...

  2. We have also been on a LOT of Carnival cruises and I will tell you that the Triumph and Victory cruiseships are not my favorite for one BIG reason.  If you look at the size of this ship and compare it with the other ships (Triumph is 101,000 tons......Pride is 88,000 tons and Conquest is 110,000 tons) you will see that on the Triumph and Victory, even though the ship itself is larger than a lot of other ships, the extra tonnage is NOT allotted to public spaces but rather to staterooms.  When we went on our cruise on the Triumph, I was excited because at the time, this ship was the largest in the Carnival fleet.  Well, the public areas were so crowded, the buffet lines were always extremely long and we were always having a difficult time maneuvering around people.  That is when I decided the problem was that the extra space was for extra staterooms and the public areas were not built larger to accomodate the extra passengers.  We then went on the Pride, which was a smaller ship and newer.......the public areas were the right size to accomodate the amount of passengers.  Next we tried the Conquest, knowing that it was larger than the Triumph, but I did study the schematic of the Conquest and determined that the design mistakes of the Triumph were not repeated in the Conquest design ships.  The public areas were designed to accomodate the larger amount of passengers on the ship and it was a divine cruiseship and experience.

As for the itinerary, Carnival pretty much "owns" their ports of call.  By this I mean, Carnival has so many ships and has the cruise experience down to a "science" that you cannot go wrong with Carnival except with the problem I mentioned with the Triumph itself.

You will have a wonderful time, I am sure.  Just remember, next time try one of the larger ships to see how they have rectified the problem of cabin space vs. public spaces.

  3. I actually prefer the Triumph to the newer ships. I was just on the Legend and found I liked the set-up of Triump much better

  4. i went last year on the triumph....it was awesome......and i'm going again this july.....on the triumph.....i love carnival.....its lots of fun....just make sure to do your homework on the islands you will be visiting.....download a local map, and find the local interests.....you can save alot of money getting to the island and finding stuff to do opposed to doing the boat's excursions....have fun!!!

  5. We have not been on Triumph but we have been on 9 other Carnival ships. Carnival  is our first choice, when we can't do Disney. We have done Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, Disney, and Carnival. You'll love it. Not sure where you'll be stopping that would be helpful I could tell you what to do and see.

Puerto Rico is Beautiful we did a tour or Old Puerto Rico through the ship. We usually do not do this but on that trip we flew into Puerto Rico and was not familiar with the island. We had a long wait to leave so we did the tour. We saw old forts, churches, and a park.  There is a Hard Rock Cafe here.

In the Bahamas we called ahead to Atlantis and booked a room so we could use the facilities. The room was $219.00 dollars. If we had booked tours with the ship it would have been at least that or more. We took a cab from the ship to Atlantis. We palyed on the water slides all day which ended up being 5pm They close the water park early. We ate at one of the restaurants and our meal was $140.00 dollars. It was quite expensive we ordered 2 entrees an appetizer 1 soda and no alchool. I was shocked at the price. The name was something with fire in it. Very nice just expensive. The aquarium is wonderful it does cost but if you wait until 6 you can walk through for free.  Senior Frogs is also a fun place to visit if you like to party. We only get to go when the kids stay home. Don't eat there just drink the food is not good. They have foot long drinks. If you do not drink this is not a place for you. Don't waste your time at the straw market. It is just expensive junk. Del Sol is a great place to get gifts. Hard Rock Cafe also here.

In Miami if you get there early go to Bayside it is an outdoor  shopping area with restaurants and entertainment. It is just across from the port. You will have to take a cab.  There is a Hard Rock Cafe. We always go to every HRC we see so my husband can get a t-shirt. My family lived in Miami for many years. I would visit and Bayside was one of my favorite places.

Carnival has always been good for us. There are so many things to do onboard. Have fun. Wish I was there.

  6. I'm going on the Carnival Triumph this September!!! We're dong the Eastern Caribbean as well. We can't wait! I've been doing a lot of cruise research online. I highly recommend searching for 'Carnival Triumph reviews' on yahoo and you will find so many reviews from past cruisers who went on this ship. I have learned so many good tips!
