How was it? Were there enough things to do on the boat to keep you occupied?

  1. I have been on 10 cruises.   Royal Caribbean, Disney, Princess and NCL.

I hated NCL and will never cruise with them again.  The Free Style dining was horrible.  And the food was horrible.

Go with Princess or Royal Caribbean.  They are the best.

  2. I went on a Norwegian cruise back in April.  I loved it.  I was glad that I had two weeks vacation.  I went on the cruise the first week, and then I took the second week to rest.  I loved all the activities that were being put on, that we attended everything.

We went to the game shows, the dances, the live music, the trivia, and the shows.  They were all awesome.  We didn't even break the tip of the iceberg with the activities.

The staff even began to learn our name for a more personal experience.  There was several friendly staff members.  It was an awesome experience.  I wouldn't cruise with anyone else.

Also, you can't forget about bingo, eating, the casino, the swimming pool, karaoke, art auctions, and deck parties such as disco night, carribean fun night, and the single-mingle parties.

  3. Just this past Christmas, I went on the Pride of America that went around to the Hawaiian islands. I had a blast!!!! The food, the shows, the bars, the shore excursions, the shops, believe me, there will be enough on and off the boat to keep you occupied. Hope you have a great time!!

  4. Good Question

I have been on 6 cruises so far

    2 Princess

    2 Norwegian

    1 Disney

    1 Royal Carribean

Personally I by far prefer the Princess Line

Princess has by far the best service, everyone has a smile and is happy to help you with anything you need and they do it quick

Disney I was quite young and it was of course geared towards younger kids so I had a great time, there was tons for adults to do anyway, if you dont have kids though I doubt you will be going on a disney cruise

Royal Carribean had alot of stuff to do, with fairly good service. Their new ships that have the ice rink and that fancy stuff would be your best bet if you are looking for a cruise with stuff to do on the ship. So look into that, there is so much stuff on those ships I cannot name it all

Norwegian had great service the first time I went a few years ago. However the last time, (2 years ago) I went they employed a weird type of dinner schedual. There was 3 restuarants and you made reservations on the first day or you got stuck in the buffet every night. This seems like a good idea at first but the menu did not change and the food was not very good. The service from employees was lackluster. The shows in the theater are best thing I can say about that trip. There was a very limmited variety of things to do on the ship, mainly there was a pool, bar, theater, ping pong, and that was about it.

If you are looking to be occupied on the ship I would strongly suggest Royal Carribean and go on one of their new ships. Otherwise I would choose princess.

I would probally rank Norwegian lowest on my scale, I will probaly not take another norwegain cruise for a long time.
