  1. I would HIGHLY recommend going through AFS if you are looking to do a high school exchange. They exchange to both the US and Australia for either a semester or a full year and they have an excellent support system. I've never been an exchange student but I've hosted an AFSer and met lots of others.

  2. i tried once but was told i had 2 b a student first

  3. I haven't been a foreign eschange student, but have researched it  a lot. Everyone I have talked to has said that it was one of the best experiences they have ever had. As far as a company goes, just look on the internet. Try to get a feel for each company, and then compare the details like cost between the companies. Any company that you find should be reputable, so don't worry about that.

  4. I went to new zealand last year as an exchange student, is really nice, cause everybody is so lovely and they always try to make you fell as comfty as possible (at least at school) but i had really serious problems with the agency i traveled with EF (education first) i wouldn't recommend it to you. but one of my best friends travelled with afs to switzerland and had a really nice experience. I would say you should go to australia, is a really nice country to go to, and aussies r really friendly people. hope it will help
