Has anyone been on globespan or Airtransat to Canada? if so, how was it? taking into account the prices.?

went with Air Transat in 1997

price was cheapest

flight was delayed in Manchester, Glasgow, arrived over 8 hours late IIRC

no inflight film (wasn't working)

return trip had no problems.

that was on one of their second hand tristars. IIRC their fleet now is pretty modern fleet or Airbus.

I don't think there is a problem, although Canadian friends beg to differ... it was transat that had the plane run out of fuel mid Atlantic and glided into the Azores (I think)... the fault was due to poor/inadequate maintenance procedures

Air Transat, was decent not bad nor the best. I dont remember the price though. It satisfied me enough.
